FRP - Fibre Reinforced Polymer
FCS Can offers FRP, commonly referred to as Fibre Glass (GFRP), products for various applications. Products include FRP Re-bar, FRP Anchor Bolts, FRP Hollow bar as well as FRP Mats and FRP special shapes
FRP materials are composites made from a polymer matrix reinforced with fibers, usually glass (GFRP), carbon (CFRP), or aramid (AFRP). The fibers provide strength and stiffness, while the polymer matrix binds them together, transferring loads and protecting the fibers.

•Concrete Construction: Slab reinforcement, foundations, precast concrete elements, formwork, bridge deck reinforcement, coastal building and infraestructure, seawalls and bulkheads, marine piers and docks, flood barriers, MRI Rooms and hospitals, airports.
•Geotechnical Applications: soil nails, micropiles, pre-stresed rock and soil anchors. FCS Can is developing connections between CTS®/IBO® Hollow Bars and FRP Hollow bars, as well as between FCS Solid bars and FRP Solid Bars.
•Mining and Tunneling: anchors for roofs and side walls.
